• Share the obstacle you face: make of a specific problem a European solution!

In Spring 2020 the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) will open a new call for proposals to support local and regional authorities in European border regions to solve legal and administrative obstacles to cross-border cooperation in light of the extension of the pilot initiative b-solutions.

Promoted by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and managed by AEBR, b-solution [1] aims to find alternative, tangible and replicable solutions to the many legal and administrative obstacles that still hamper the cooperation along the EU internal land borders. 

Public authorities and cross-border entities are awarded with legal consultancy by experts with proven knowledge of cross-border matters who will help find possible solutions to solve existing obstacles. 

Guidelines to participate to the calls for proposals will soon be published on the website [1].
